E46m3 headers

Hey guys looking into putting headers on my e46m3. I have full catback borla exhaust. Any recommendations on headers. Also has anyone had good luck with the eBay headers?

eBay headers require extra work to install. What's your budget? If funds allow it just go with OEM Euro headers. Status Gruppe has new headers for our cars as well. Active Autowerkes is a bit pricy but never heard a bad thing about them. Whatever headers you decide to get make sure you get a proper tune for it. Look into Evolve. People love them on here! Personally I'd go with Agency Power headers. Best bang for the buck in my opinion.

M3 header search

Thanks I was actually looking into the agency power headers. Did you install these yourself? I have a lift in my garage and am fairly mechanical so I was planning on doing the install myself. We're there any issues with the header flanges being to thick I have heard guys having to use longer stud bolts to mount aftermarket headers I don't really want to have to mess with this. Also I was told when I bought my car that it had dinnian software that removed the top speed gov and moved the rev limiter up like 100rpm. Will I still need a tune with the headers. The car currently has full catback borla and afe intake. I have been finding AP headers for around 900. If I could get something of equal quality for 700 or less that would be sweet. Save some cash for other mods.

With a lift it shouldn't be too hard. I know there's a guy on m3forum that does header installs for 300 bucks in SoCal.

Yes you'll need to retune it even though you have Dinan software.

Ap headers fit good from what I remember. You will love the sound of the car afterwards. I have eBay headers, and they don't fit perfect but as far as value for money you can't beat it.

I installed AP headers on my car as the wait for SG headers was too long. I got a great deal from a forum supporting member. They fit great, and were a breeze to install

Great where did you buy your AP headers. How much we're they and do you perhaps have contact information. Best price I have found was 900.

Cool that is a good deal bro. I just emailed Mike Migs from status gruppe and he said I could get a set of there headers for 740 shipped. Sounds like a decent deal I am kinda leaning toward them.
