what size bulb is the front turn signal?

my front left signal is out and i've gotta replace it.

i found this diy online (http://m3.madrussian.net/diy_front_turnsignal.shtml) which i'll be following.

it just doesn't explain what kind of bulb i'm supposed to get. probably be able to get this at canadian tire? anybody know?

also, once replaced, will the indicator light go off (the one that tells me that one of the lights are out)?

thanks in advance.

I can confirm that can tire has them..just picked up a set myself for about 5$. They are now carrying bmw bulb types. Sure beats 15$ per bulb and the stealership, keep in mind these are the orange oem bulbs not mirror finish.

Bulb size is 7507 150 degree/single contact type. Meaning the nubs on the outside of the bulb housing are offset just a little bit rather than straight across from eachother.
