What if you lose your job? What if you crash your car? What if you get sick and can't work? These possibilities are more important than wheels.

Guess you misunderstood me. Its a very low priority item, so i am only allocating enough per month from my total fund to where it will stretch the purchase date out till next december and im fine with that. Everyones taking it here as saying i cant afford them lol when i dont feel like blowing 4k at one time so suddenly. So the whole purpose of this thread was more or less pointless, i just wanted to see what people had to say had somebody asked. I stated that from the beginning. I have almost made the move for 3 other items for the car, plus i ordered friction rings and some pad replacements for the Stoptechs. Im hardly looking at just wheels. I just dont NEED them.

Get 3-piece wheels, and buy the set in 12 pieces.

firstly, what kind of car do you drive?
secondly, why do you want 4k wheels? Can't you deal with a $1,200 set?

You use "lol" a lot. I think it presents itself as a form of insecurity within yourself

Buying them one at a time will practically guarantee that they will change the color slightly or discontinue the wheels after you buy the third wheel.
Save up for them . . and then hopefully by the time you have enough saved you will realize that you have better things to spend your money on. |

Spending 4k on wheels for an M3 is ridiculous. And I've seen plenty of name brand rims get bent from minor bumps. I curbed my car last week, head on My $1200 wheels didn't have a scratch and drive as if nothing happened. |

You'd guess someone driving a new $35K car on $5K wheels, but apparently not.

1. Get credit card
2. Buy $12,000 in SIRI Stock 3. Profit$$$ 4. Buy wheels 100 at a time

OP, you don goofed, brah. You should have known that you were going to be ripped a new one here. But hey, you gotta do what you gotta do. I will say though... I've done my share of financial mistakes in my life and when I was into cars, putting all this ridiculous money into my car when I couldn't afford to was one of them. Now, if you've got 3 months (at least) security money set aside, money going into savings/mutual funds/401K and you're simply using your left over money to save for things like wheels, then hell yeah. Save up and get that. If you don't have those things set up, I wouldn't be spending on 4K wheels.

Don't listen to the haters. Save and buy the complete set. 2 reasons why.
1: You might find something better when you have the coin 2: If you buy them one at a time, and the color changes, you will be pi$$ed. Not everyone here, regardless of the ballers in 10 year old M3s are loaded. Not everyone here dates super models, and not everyone here is as smart as they think they are. Some are, and I will say I have learned a lot from people on here, about all aspects, but some of the loudest, are also the dumbest. Just saying.
