war zone

My area has been sounding like a war zone for the last 5 minutes. Pistols, rifles, automatic weapons from two different directions... occasional booms. Wtf is going on out there?

Then I remembered what the date and time was

My Ride: What else?
Surprised you didn't head on out with the M16 and immediately start returning fire

Lol no. Gun shots are common to hear around here, even autos. When one group of rednecks start firing off others follow. Ususally its the 4th or new years....I forgot it was new years. Benifits of living in a valley, stuff echos off the mountains.

I dont shoot around the house myself anymore. To many neighbors to shoot unsuppressed and somebody moved in to the old farm house at the back of our land so I'm stuck with my bullet trap in the basement or at work.

On the 4th before it gets to late ill bring out some of the black powder cannons.

Shit, that was my night last night. Lots of bullet holes in cars at work. Then I got stuck dealing with a stabbing...

My Ride: is fun to drive
I went duck hunting last weekend at a FL Fish & Wildlife management area. They do limited hunts in this area and when they do, they have a lot of people snatch up the permits.

Shooting was allowed to start at 6:40am. At about 6:38 it sounded like we were in Afghanistan. Nearly constant shooting for about 45 minutes. Then tapered off to heavy sporadic for another hour and a half.

That's awesome. Only time you hear gun shots around here is when you're in the hood (seriously).
