Stamp arrived today so I can take home my Halo tomorrow.
Threaded Ruger Takedown barrel arrived from ADCO. They did a superb job on the threading and relocation of the front sight. They forgot the thread protector, but a few emails back and forth and they are making one and I should get it next week.
The Savage FV-SR was delivered to my FFL and I picked that up too.

Non-firearm stuff but related as it's becoming my bug out vehicle, my new rim for the spare arrived for the Wrangler along with a set of Hella headlights. I also painted the chrome headlight bezels black.

Lever. 99% of mounts out there are lever mount, and they're better than the VFZ option. The VFZ option was basically made for agency level or unit level weapons in order to prevent the user from taking it off. Also, they were created for people who are mounting scopes to rifles for precision shooting and have no need or desire for the QD option, and they want less to stuff sticking out on the side of the rifle.

Unless you have a specific reason for needing the VFZ option, definitely go with the lever option.

You just going to sell them? I know many ranges don't allow them, and the accuracy isn't that great.

Picked up a gun I've wanted for a while. Hard to find cheap. Converted saiga 12 shotgun. 5 round and 10 clip. Switch out gas plug to an auto plug. Love to load buckshot and slugs in same clip. Very fun gun

Mod 0 never available and everything else working the same I prefer the look of the longer one over the mod 0

Rainier sent me an email that mod 1 was in stock so I jumped and bought it, plus if I ever get a 14.5" barrel I can throw this one on there and pin it.
