if one had been available when I was shopping, I probably could have convinced myself to go that route.

I have to agree with Top Gear here, how can they get so little power from a 6.2?

That's pretty cool. I'm glad to see the domestic auto makers stepping up and providing cars like this.

I agree. They could have done much better. That's on par with my 6 year old E90 M. Now, I know it makes decent torque compared to the M's 4.0, but still...

They shoulda given it more.

Because they don't care. It's a homologation car. It doesn't need to win any magazine shootouts or set any performance benchmarks.

They want to make a couple thousand of them, get them sold for a tidy profit and not lose their ass on warranty claims. It's not supposed to be a flagship or anything.

LOL you guys are funny. That 6.2 is detuned so far. Cam / headers / springs = 575HP.

Doesn't even come with a manual, yet it's supposedly enthusiast oriented?

You can't shift faster than DCG in a new M, lol.

I've been driving stick for 6 years, it sucks.

Yeah, but this isn't a fancy double-clutch flappy-paddle box. Torque converter!
