Check on Bimmerforums.com, that would be the first place Id go since everyone and their brother there has a set and would be able to answer your questions pretty quickly.

Good luck guys. I rebuilt some BBS RS's a few years back for a volkswagen. They are a pain in the butt to keep clean and I was always polishing lips. Takes all the fun right out of it.

Dont buy new bolts, as they are like 2 bucks each.
Just send all your old bolts to a refinishing company, they will clean them up from any rust or whatever and zink plate them or even chrome.
PM me, I'll give you a website since you're local Toronto man.

No no.
No spacers here as these will already stick out pretty much.
All you need is to put a Hub Centering Ring 74.1 to 72.56 mm on it and put some 215/40/17 tires preferably.

And you'll be set.

Im using the HNR BILSTIEN set up , running on 225/40/ 18 , Love the look but hate the quality In ride , Best bet Is oem ..215 40 17 You say ? What If I went a little more wider? Does the 215 really stick out ?

What about a staggered look ?

Doesnt make sense. Ride quality will remain the same or even worse with the Style5s and preferred tires as long as you are using the same suspension setup.

And what do you mean by "best bet is oem"? you mean rims or suspension?

Do you even know anything about Style 5s? If not here is some info:
17 x 8 all four with ET+20 and a hub size of 74.1mm. They came after 97 for the E39.

P.S. Style 5s are available in staggered fitment but its super rare and would need even more work to fit as they would come in:
17x8 et 20
17x9 et 22 -- 72.56 center bore.
^ these are super super rare and they only came on early E34(to the best of my knowledge)

Please dont ask me what ET means or what is a hub size.
Make your decision.

I know of a company that will plate them but its in Toronto and you're in Florida, you'll be better off asking local guys for local places but anyway here it is > http://www.acadiangroup.ca/finishing.html , they will plate , coat jusy about everything.
If you got the dough, buy the bolts new here > http://www.titanium-touch.de/produkt...mode=show&id=6
