I think life is trying to tell me something.

First I fail emissions for a couple engine codes, my sunroof gets stuck open two nights ago. I end up ripping out the shade and picking out pieces of it from the track so it will close. (Now the sun shines bright inside the car. ) also I didn't rip it out because I wanted to. It was supposed to be a rainy week and I took desperate measures.

Tonight I hit a deer (rather i swerved and it hit me) and it dents my door in, screws up my mirror (snapped the cover completely and whatever mechanism that secures it down is now broken so its loose and moves freely at its own will) and I'm supposing either the dent or the impact from the deer messed up the window motor or regulator. Now my window won't go down.

Damage isn't too bad but I now not only have to replace a sunshade which seems difficult, I also need to replace a mirror, get a dent popped out and repaint the door. I know paintless dent removal but the point at which the deer hit the door completely cracked the paint in half at that mark.

Terribly expensive week.

Good news about the sunroof is, it's very easy to repair. New shade is somewhat expensive, but the repair is super simple. I had one of the more extreme cases of a broken sunroof, and even that wasn't too awful.

I know the feeling dude... Couple weeks ago I had a coolant leak from my expansion tank.. (easy fix replacing it) I don't have a garage... 8 PM at night... jacking up my car in -20C weather ontop of snow (couldn't leave it till morning as I needed it for work the very next morning).... only to go 2 work the next day and have my front bumper ripped off in the parking lot when I pulled into a stall and a piece of rebar was just sticking out of the damn ground and sadly enough I didn't see it... ripped my bumper

Atleast you avoided the deer for the most part and no one got injured is the most important thing mann... metal & plastic can be fixed/replaced

Haven't heard from u for a while dude! Hope ur doing alright.

I always liked your style of speech. Calm, emotionless, and controlled. But I am sensing that you are not having much fun in life... Always bad things happen to you.

I think it's time for you to start new somewhere, a cheaper e30 with stick, a fresh wardrobe, a gym membership, some new friends... Change your life for the better.

Haven't really researched much on the sunshade.
I thought about just removing all clips and whatever front the shade itself and forcing it back in there.

I imagine actually doing it properly requires removal of the headliner

My sunroof has been 'broken' perse since I've owned the car I'm more worried about the sun coming through than I am about how smooth the shade feels when I open/close it.

I wish I could afford a gym membership but lately my skin problems have tied up all extra finances.

I kind of want to go through insurance for this deer thing (first time actually getting damage from a deer) but I did not get a police report and I was told since I didn't have a police report for this "act of God" I can't prove it was from deer and I would have to pay my insurance deductible for repairs. When apparently with a police report my company doesn't even charge deductible.

Like hello there be deer hair all up in cracks and stuff come on
