never gotten into F1 but definitely gonna check it out when it comes to town. I live 20 minutes from where they are buliding the track . It's also been interesting following the whole controversy between city leaders, F1 organizers, and residents that border the facilities.

No, NC is. It started here and all the big teams are located just outside of Charlotte.

You might want to go over this thread made by El Pasoans for visiting fans from last years C-USA basketball tourney. some pretty good stuff on there. Not just because El Paso is my hometown but in my opinion has the best authentic mexican food anywhere. IF you are a carnivore then really check out Cattlemans steakhouse. There's also a casino right over the state line in New Mexico called "Sunland Park racetrack and casino", it's about 15 minutes from downtown El Paso. Cincinatti street district is a bar area located across the street from UTEP and Union PLaza are the nightlife of El Paso. Oh, and I don't think I need to tell you this but STAY OUTTA JUAREZ.

last i checked it doesn't rain in texas during the summer, meaning construction will closely follow their schedule. Here is a website for all the updates:
