P0411 secondary air system incorrect flow

The winter here is approaching and I got my first warning light on my 2005 m3.
It came out at first few weeks ago and I tried to clean the system about a month ago when I did the full service II (i have 90k km).
Few days later after clearing it, the light on my dash came back on.
When I had my valve cover off I replaced the gasket on the engine side downstream the check valve. The valve looks good, there is no carbon traces on the pump side, it closes ok (I tested it by filling it with carb cleaner) and it opens fine when I blow through it. The secondary air pump turns on at cold start and seems fine. No strange noises. I have inspected the hose that connects the pump to the valve and it seems fine but I think I will replace it next.
What else could it be?
Do you have any experience with it?

I talked too early. The check engine light came up again. The cheap obd reader that I got reads p0172 and p0411. Now I'm start thinking, are this two codes related? For the first one, engine bank running too rich I should check for vacuum leaks and fuel leaks. I just did my service 2, i got new fuel and air filters so that should be ok.
The only thing I can think of is when I have installed the new check valve gasket for the secondary air system, I didn't torque the bolts enough? Could be that the source of my problem? Should indeed be the opposite, engine running too lean with more air coming in?

The obd reader that I got on sale innova 3030 is giving me an error while trying to clear the codes, does anybody have tried the same scanner?

check the plastic hose between the secondary air pump and valve for cracks. The plastics gets brittle over time as cracks. This caused the CEL on my M; replaced the hose and no more CEL.

I just ordered that part, lets see what happens once installed.
What about the p0172 code?

That one I can't speak for. I only had the p0411 due to the cracked hose and had no issues ever since I replaced the hose. The p0172 code is most likely caused by a different issue, non-related to p0411

I'd fix the existing issue, reset the codes and see what comes back. Often misfire and lean/rich codes happen after something else has gone wrong, and you know you have an issue to resolve already.

Delete the SAP.

And the EVAP while you're at it.

Less stuff to fail, like your situation, and it will drop around 20-25 lbs total off the car!

you can get sec air codes from having vacuum leaks. the p0172 sounds like you might have a vacuum leak. start there first

Delete it, get an Evolve tune and have them clear it to read as ready.

After few months I still have this CEL on, incorrect flow for the secondary system.
I have replaced the gasket on the engine side for the check valve, tested the check valve so I am sure that that doesnt leak.
I also changed the hose from the pump to the valve, and the pump is running on cold starts.

Does anyone have any idea on what it could be?
My last chance is to change the relay. Before ordering it, can any of you confirm that is like the pink salmon relay for the SMG?

P0411 secondary air system incorrect flow

New relay in but cel is still there. So I don't really know what to do next.
I replaced the hose, the check valve gasket. The pump is working and when I disassembled the valve was very clean and it did not leak. I don't really want to throw parts in just because.
