don't know about the other stuff, but induction charging is already a reality. you can install one in your garage floor and it will charge your car while you sleep without having to plug it in.

I assume you have to have a dangling cable/piece of metal to touch the floor. You won't live to see the day that this is done in the US.

work with DOTs and you'll quickly see that they have BILLIONS in unfunded projects annually.. this will never happen unless something drastic happens in this country

Privatized roads are the future in this country....and THEN you will see this type of technology being used.

No thanks it already costs me like 10 bucks in toll fees just to get to work.

A private road would (does) cost a lot less. It costs me more than $10, and thats thanks to the MTA unions. Furthermore, you would still have public roads, they would just be in far worse shape, have more traffic, and if they are toll roads, cost more.

The US can barely keep the roads in good repair, let alone lit well. This will never happen in the US.

Why not increase taxes on gas and have roads like in Germany, I just don't trust private companies.
