Triad, NC - Recommended Shops
Hey Guys,
Any recommendations for good, trustable mechanics in the Triad area? I live in Winston-Salem and the guys at Flow have tried ripping me off a couple of times. I've been to Eurobahn Motorsports in G'boro a few times.. was happy with the service a couple of times and not so much a couple of other times. Had been to Carmine in Kernersville and they charged me an inspection fee to diagnose the issue and after I gave them a go ahead to work on it, they charged that fee outside what they charged me for the work on the issue.. which is unprecedented! Everywhere I've been, including the dealership, if you go ahead with the work, that fee is rolled up into the final labor cost! Anyway, been in this area for about a year and still trying to find out a home for my car. Really appreciate some suggestions! Thanks. s. |

I've never had to take my car to a shop around here, but I had a friend use this place: http://www.motorworksautorepair.com/
He just had to get his starter replaced and they seemed to charge pretty normal prices for an independent shop. They even came to high point to pick his car up for free.
