No start, no click, no power

So I've been away at school since September, my car's been sitting in the garage. I've been having my dad drive it periodically to keep it from sitting. I came home the first week of November; it started up fine, I drove it for maybe 20 minutes. The next day I drove it for about 2 hours total, no issues.

Today I came home, started it (started fine), let it run for 10-15 minutes like i always do after it had been sitting. Then I backed it out into the driveway and turned it off. Maybe 2 minutes later I came out to leave, I turned the key, and the car completely went dead. No lights on the dash, no clicking to turn over, no park gear indicator light that's usually on. Fob won't lock doors, radio and window's don't work, interior lights aren't on.

I tried a few times, no luck. I let the car sit for a half-hour, went back out, and now the park gear indicator light is blinking. When I put the key in, the normal dash lights blink as well as the interior lights. Still won't start or even click to turn over.

Battery is pretty old, it's a Duralast from the previous owner. It usually tests at 12ish volts when I'm driving it every day.

I'll try jumping it/testing the battery and replacing the battery if necessary.

Any ideas that reflect these symptoms? Why would it start up without trouble at first, but not a second time?

Coke and a brush is a good thing for getting rid of battery corrosion. Try to jump the car, crazy things happen to BMWs when the battery dies. Drove a E90 into the shop the other day with a dead battery, the dash was lit like a Christmas tree, windshield wipers couldn't be turned off and the radio would fade in and out along with jumping randomly from station to station.

So I tested the battery, it simply needed a recharge. Got it started, let it run for a while, took it for a short drive, and it seems to be good. The issue now is that I've lost key fob controls?
