Good stuff, I was "stuck" at 225 for a while, meaning I just never went up in weight. Finally threw 245 on there and got on 2 easy reps then got 255 for 2, went up to 275 two workouts ago and got it up once, was nice pressing 2 45s and a 25 on each side.

That's awesome.Hopefully I can do that. I have a work out partner on chest days now, so it's nice to have a spot so I can push my self with a little bit more confidence of not dying.

Yeah a guy I work with goes to the same gym and is usually there to give me a spot, if not there are always a few regulars in there that will always help out.

Not true, we are talking 1RM here, my working sets are something similar to the below

135x6
185x6
205x8-10
225x4-6
225x2-3
225x2
225x2

Just recently I've started to go up past 225, have only gotten 275 up once and the spotter helped me rack it.

Never realized how nice some people are at the gym. Haha. This morning when I was about to go for the the two plates some guy came over and said hell spot for me. Later on. I was doing "dips" on the machine where you add weights to. And I guy asked to set in with me on same weights. When I got to the final set I went heavy to see what I could get. He helped me stay down on the chair and then helped on my last two reps. odd, but still is nice to know people want to help with progression. (Two different people today) haha

Re: What do you bench?

Got up 260 x 6 today. My heaviest rep set to date. I didn't go any higher because i started doing strip sets after that to avoid bugging people for a spot. Keep progressing guys!

Sets of 245 today with no spotter, granted they were sets of 2 but it's progress.
