Agreed. The exterior is alright depending on what package you end up with, its the interior I have a problem with. Its just so.... Tacky. Cheap. Boring. The e70 and E83 were just such nicer cars.

The FX is fugly. It looks like a French interpretation of a sh*tty American automotive concept.

Oh, wait. . .

Honesty the new x3 looks very Honda crv-ish.. While I do love bmws, I think they did a poor design on the f25 x3. I would go for the fx35 if it were me. It looks so badass.

I ended up getting her a fully loaded Acura Tsx. I think it's pretty nice, and she loves it.

FX all the way htye are so good looking, the X3 are FUGLY. I loved my Infiniti and whish I never wrecked it. It was a better car than my 330

We've got it narrowed down to pretty much just an Explorer now. Don't want to have to drive an hour if any warranty work needs to be done, so that leaves us with ford, Chevy, MB, Cadillac, Volvo, Honda, and Toyota.

Not buying an MB under at circumstances, we drove the Explorer first, loved it.

XC-60/90 didn't stack up. 60 didn't have enough room, 90 is in bad need of an update that it won't get for another year and a half.

Highlander didn't do anything for us.

Cadillac SRX had same problem as XC-60. If I'm sitting in the front right seat, my knees are in the dash.

Traverse wasn't as nice as the Explorer.

Haven't driven a Pilot yet, but we're not all that hopeful about it.

We're looking at most likely a loaded Explorer Limited.

Compare option for option...FX out muscles the BMW for sure
But at the end of the day it's still a Nissan and not a BMW.

jk, the x3's were never really "luxury" as most come with leatherette and barebones interior (which I like, easy maintenance and lasts longer/looks newer over time than leather. I prefer the e83 x3 though, it feels like its more planted in turns.

My Mom is in the same boat. These little SUV's are way more expensive than they should be haha. She has had 2 RX's and is tired of them and their odd rattles and poor build quality. That being said, she has narrowed down to the Audi Q5 and the X3. The funny thing about the Q5 is NO ONE is willing to deal right now. You take it with mark up and oh yeah, you only get silver or black.(Very popular I guess, just look around)
