Swap M54B25 for M57D30?!

Hello, i've been thinking recently about swapping my b25 for a diesel.
But i have not been able to find much on the subject when it comes to electricals? What would be needed to move over from the diesel car?
Thank you for any pointers!

As far as I know the electrical are different, plus you will need all the fuel supply system of a diesel, the instrument cluster, and many other items that I probably forgot.

DME, EWS (I suppose you could mate yours instead), instrument cluster, and wiring harness. This swap will cost more than your car is worth, but would be very neat. Find a crashed donor diesel car, is that hard to find over there?

Thanks for the help guys, unfortunately i just got some answers from the people about taxes and how to register the car with the engine, and it won't be happening :/ i will have to pay $1000 per year in taxes and have to switch out the whole driveline + brake system in order to even register it!

I love (and for the greater good, hate) living in states without emissions checks. I can swap any engine here that fits and when the insurance company asks for the VIN that is all she need to insure me. No driveline or any physical checks required.

Time for you to sell and buy a 330cd
