K&N 57i Induction Kit Fitment Question

Hi guys,

I have the 318ci with the N42, 143PS engine and want to stick an induction kit in it. I know, no real power gains etc - I want it mainly for a more aggressive sound (can't afford any exhaust mods) but I'm not willing to do the ghetto 'drill a hole in your airbox' version. I've read somewhere that the K&N 57i kit sounds great and it's pretty reasonably priced:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-320i-2...item3f1a66e5b8

The listing says it fits the 320i, I can't find any kits the say they fit the 143PS engine - they all say 318 118PS model, but do you guys think it'll fit anyway? Surely there can't be a huge difference in the amount of space available in the engine bay.

Advice appreciated

Thanks

It all comes down to MAF size and mounting points. If the MAF sensor hole is the same and the mounting points for the intake are the same then it should fit

Okay cheers, I've taken a risk and ordered one (seller has a returns policy anyway) and will post back if it fits for anyone else looking for a thread like this.

In case anyone reads this, it doesn't fit. Look elsewhere.
