M3 sport steering wheel (leather and multifunction)
Hi Gang,
I upgraded my ZHP's steering wheel to an Alcantara Competition Package one to match my Alcantara interior and eliminate some of the buttons (i.e., my car doesn't have cruise control and looking at the useless button has become quite depressing). The steering wheel I have for sale is BMW part number 32-34-2-282-020. From what I understand the wheel came from the 04 M3 donor car that provided my ZHP with the powertrain. Wheel has the tri-color ///M stiching. I know for sure it's nearly identical to the leather wheel found in the ZHPs and I'm confident the only difference is the tri color ///M stitching. Someone please educate me if you know of any other differences. Rest assured, the airbag is the same so the wheel is a direct bolt-on. Anyway, I referenced the part number for the ZHP wheel and it appears to be different. Here's a link to the two wheels for sale at ECS Tuning: M3 wheel: http://www.ecstuning.com/Search/32342282020/ES53804/ ZHP M Sport wheel: http://www.ecstuning.com/Search/32342282022/ES53806/ Mileage on the steering wheel should be about 52-53,000 miles (my car currently being at 59,000). Leather is in excellent condition with the exception of one area just below the 9-o-clock position that shows a slight bit of wear, most probably from the palm of the previous owner. This area is about 2cm long by about 1/2cm wide and is difficult to see dependent on lighting conditions. Please see pictures. Perhaps this is something that can be addressed by a auto leather upholstery expert... or professional detailer. I'm asking $400 and am located in Orange County (Irvine area), CA. Willing to ship of course. -Terry TBest90662@aol.com |

Got it, thanks Austin. I've since looked around and I think $400 is too much considering it's without an airbag.
Price is adjusted to $300. Should anyone in the area want to take a gander, please shoot me an email. If somebody isn't pleased with the condition after receiving it (if I were to ship it), I would be more than happy to refund and also cover the return shipping. Cheers, -Terry TBest90662@aol.com |
