Peake Research pg 19 code FA Functional Check Purge Valve

I have searched and it is confusing me. What does this code mean? I have it but no symptoms. I have done CCV not long ago, car is running great.

Hi -

I just checked the manual to make sure we were looking at the same thing, which we are. If you're seeing 19 as the fist digits displayed, that is table 19, not page 19. It looks like you're reading FA from table 19, which is correct. I just want to make sure we're reading the proper code.

I'm not certain what system the purge valve in question is part of. To start, I would reset the code and drive normally. See if it returns, then do some more digging.

Sorry I can't offer more assistance with this one.

Thanks,

Ken

Sorry, yes I read table 19, not page 19. I am taking the path you are recommending, this may be a fluke code.

I've had the same code occasionally over the last few years. Usually does not stay for long. Did you ever fix this issue?
