just as I open my mouth, I called the place I got it from and they don't have my name under who bought it and told me it might have been under preferred cash customer, whatever that means. But told me the price today was $486.

But I know I didn't pay over 350, cause in a single month I did the fuel pump and water pump and the idler pulley. Now its gonna bug the crap out of me of what I actually paid.

My Ride: 2003 M3
I've had both (well, still have the E36 M3) and they're just preference, all power aside.

e36 feels more connected to the road and has potential to make power, just not big power without any help. E46 M3 is, as stated previously, worlds beyond the E36 M3. I like the E36 for it's nimbleness in stock form for autox, in compared to the heavier E46 M3. Although, the E46 M3 I had ended up being WAY more nimble because of the weight drop. lol
