whats guys im kinda new to the forum and just picked up a white 02 325xi. im looking for some new wheels/rims. any ideas what'll look nice? and also looking for more power. any ideas thanks

Ah, fresh meat... So naive about the nature of a 325xi...
Wheels and tires are up to you, whatever you think looks best is the way to go. Make sure the wheel offset and tire size are kosher and you're on your way. Keep in mind that the bigger the wheel, the more harsh the ride will get, the more gas you will use, the more expensive the tires will be, and the wheel will be more prone to damage. Also, the Xi rides higher than a normal RWD. This effect is amplified (visually only) by putting larger rims on there. If you want power, either save up for a supercharger or save up for a new car. You won't get anything worthwhile out of your NA "V6" (lulz) without spending big money. Lastly, because you are asking this question I am assuming you have done every possible and recommended maintenance procedure on your car to this point? And also that it is all running perfectly without any issues? And that you have some cash in reserve for what will inevitably break? Good luck! |
