Looking to Buy E46 ZHP

I am looking to buy an E46 ZHP. I found one a 2005 with 95K Blue Ext/Saddle Int. It has most of its service records.

When I had it checked out found out work was done on drivers side and rear quarter panel. No vin stickers in door jam either. Carfax is clean???

Interior is a bit beat up with some sagging liner in the back and sunroof gets stuck a bit when closing.

The car drove pretty well and has had many of the items that usually go done.

What's it worth and is it even worth getting a car with body work with unknown reason. Seller says he didn't know about damage. (bought from dealer at 65k).

Any thoughts? Looking for pick up a 2005/06 330ci ZHP soon.

Hmm. Make sure the sunroof issue has nothing to do with the accident.

It sounds like your gut is telling you... maybe not.

Bodywork is okay under some circumstances, but if your gut is questioning the integrity of the car, pass.

There will be another. If it's the wrong car, wait. You will regret your impatience in the future.

Remember, not everything gets reported to carfax. I would pass on the deal, as there are many clean examples around the bay area for you to find.

I'm not sure if this is a poll, but I agree. When you find the right car, you'll know.

You guys were dead on. Carfax was clean but autocheck showed accident as well as frame damage in bold red. That was before the current guy bought it from dealer.

Looked at another aand same story accident history showed up on autochek but not carfax.

Picke up 2004 ZHP

Picked up a 2004 330i ZHP in silverstone grey with black interior with black cube 6MT with 60K miles. Just got my first 1000 miles in it. What a fun car ... handling is just superb at just about any speed.

Glad you finally found one you enjoy and just remember to take car of it and it will do the same back, also sometimes the accidents will show up on carfax but not autocheck, its good to have both when searching for a car, sure it can be pricey but its worth it when making a finacial decision like that,
