Key Reprogramming

Anyone know where I can get this done in Melbourne?

More info required.

You cannot reprogram keys. You can program blank keys or you can re-program the EWS in the car.

If you're talking about reprogramming the remote lock/unlock function, it's an easy DIY. Do a search.

for example when i start my car the aircon turns on so im assuming climate control was chosen as an option from factory and i want to get rid of it

Right. So totally different to what I thought you were talking about. I'd really call it coding of the car. You do it to the car rather than the key. The dealer can definitely do it as a starting point - maybe get a price from them to start with. I don't think BMW Scanner can do this (although it can do a lot of other things) as a DIY.

Also: http://www.tigersoft.com.au/ should be able to do it.

I'm kinda worried about how much the dealers will charge!
