Buy?
Hey guys I found a local e46 that seems pretty good by the pictures but the bumper seems off in the first picture.. Is it a bad facelift job or is there possibly something worse?

To me the problems look like
1) it has an auto tranny with 137,500 miles 2) the bumper, Hood and what looks like the passenger front corner panel (the color is off) looks like its been replaced due to most likley and accident.... The color is way off, and the hood isn't aligned properly, it's also missing the cover where the fog light should be. Just run away from it now.

Thats an incomplete facelift job. That is the non facelift hood with facelift lights. It shows that the owner does not pay attention to details and spends his money wrong on the car. I can almost gaurantee you this car has every single maintenance problem. I wouldn't even bother test driving this car.

The bumper doesnt suit the lights. Looks a bit iffy if you ask me.

I would stay away, that car looks like all sorts of trouble. There are better deals available.

That's not a facelift job, it's a botched post-accident repair with the incorrect parts. Look at the bumper fitment, jeez.
