door opening and xenon fault?

Hi,
I just got myself 2001 320Ci and noticed two problems.

first, when I try to unlock the car it will unlock passenger side only if I press button for two times! Is this normal?

second, previous owner installed Depo projector headlamps with xenon, works like a dream but I get error on dash for non functional headlamps?
any solution?

1. Yes, normal. One click does driver, and also reconnects the door handles to the lock mechanism internally, a second click does the passenger.

2. The Depo headlamps are most likely causing this error. I don't know how the E46 knows when lights are out, but I can almost bet that's the issue. Remove the Depo headlamps and go OEM Xenon. Get some used ones. Depo headlights are pretty low-quality anyway. The beam pattern is bad.

one more...I have folding outside mirrors, is there any way to make them fold by pressing buttons on the key? I managed to fold them only from cabin switch
