N6 eq vs bass treble

What is the best way to use the eq and/or bass.mid.treble control. It would seem like you could really goof up if you used both together. Or maybe i am not understanding. They both seem to be active in controlling the tone.

They both do affect the tone. My recommendation is to set the bass and treble controls to their neutral position and then adjust the equalizer to get the sound you want in the car. Use the bass and/or treble adjustments to tune the system for a specific song or set of songs.
