So annoying, can I just get a part number?

I am looking everywhere and I can only find the 7mm nuts for exhaust manifolds. I am doing my header install in a week or so and I just walked down stairs to see which nuts I had for my exhaust manifold studs. They seem to be 11mm, but I can't find a part number or place to order them. Supposedly since I just have a 325i and not an M, I can get away with reusing the same length studs and don't need extended ones. If somebody can post a link or part numbers for the 11mm studs and 11mm nuts it would be greatly appreciated.

Call the parts guy at your local dealer. They shouldn't be that expensive and you wont have to wait on them.

Yea my last resort plan is to drive through fields in winter park on my way home from college. I just would much rather order them online and have them waiting at my doorstep when I get home.

Let's see...realoem.com...brb...(time me)

http://realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?...83&hg=11&fg=50

I have a feeling that maybe you think if you need an 11mm socket to remove the nut, that it's an 11mm...it's not...that's probably your issue.

The nut is showing quantity of 16...number 4

Thanks doug, I always use real oem. I found this same diagram, but like you said. I was only thinking about the nut size (externally) not (internally). This makes more sense now.

dmax, if you ever take your show on the road to the midwest, let me know. My daughter lived in Hoboken until Sandy rendered her homeless. Now they are looking to relocate to the midwest. Otherwise, I was planning on seeing your show on our next trip to Hoboken.

I enjoy your posts and would love to see your comedy routine. If I get back to NYC, I'll make sure to see your act.

You should tell her to just hang around in the water until you arrive, see my show, then she can go to the midwest!

I lived in St. Louis for 15 years and loved it...and miss it a lot!

Sorry to hear she got slammed...I hope the insurance is going to cover her loss. Many seem to have issues because of lack of flood insurance.

Anyway thanks for the thoughts...always nice to have Fanatics show up...and so far, I think Fanatics have been at every one of my shows! whoot!
