HPF M3 Sparkplug alternatives

What have others tried and results, etc etc.

I just put in NGK's

PN: DCPR9EIX (2316)

Picked them up at Oreilly's for 6 bucks each

Put 20 Hard miles on the car and they work awesome and seem smoother
up top then the IXU27's but that might just be because they were old.

Ill be daily driving all week and keep people posted since I know alot of guys
are tired of waiting for the IXU27's and dont want to spend 40 bucks each
on the race plugs.

Also, idle is smoother at a low gap of 21-22

My car is a stage 2.5 6766 and I have Bosch Coil's

A 9 is colder than an 8. "The heat rating of each NGK spark plug is indicated by a number; lower numbers indicate a hotter type, higher numbers indicate a colder type."

The equivalent denso would be a IXU24 at an NGK 8 Heatrange.

Yes im aware it's a colder plug

Im just wondering since the colder plug will affect heat distribution and other things.

Sparkplug is a science of it's own.

I know alot of cars that do turbo setups that doenst change the heat index of the plug, especially if you run E85 or meth etc...

I picked the 9 because its equal to denso's 27. If i was stage 2 or less then id say get the 8. And so far still running good.

Awesome but Give them a HEADS UP that you plan on dropping that stuff off so they Order the RED BRAKE Paint for the powder coat. if you do not call them then it will sit there through the holidays ( which is atleast 2 weeks) while they wait for the paint to arrive.
