Exclamation H&F Thread Rules

In an effort to make things easier to discern in the H&F forum, I decided to implement a "Rules" thread for new posters to reference. This thread and the rules that follow will be audited, edited and/or adjusted as we - as a forum - see fit.

Rules:
  1. If you are creating a new thread seeking advice about your diet and/or workout regimen, the initial post needs to have a picture so that we can assess where you are in relation to what you'd like to achieve. This will save a lot of time, and ultimately result in achieving an answer to your inquiry more expeditiously.[credited by B_Cyrus]
  2. You've at least attempted to google and read a basic guide to nutrition & exercise. You understand what macronutrients are, different muscle groups, maintenance calories, and that you can't lose fat and gain muscle at the same time unless you are just starting out. [credited by dabears]

II. You've at least attempted to google and read a basic guide to nutrition & exercise. You understand what macronutrients are, different muscle groups, maintenance calories, and that you can't lose fat and gain muscle at the same time unless you are just starting out.

Example for fat loss
Example for putting on muscle

Shouldn't have to give the same generic info over and over

Is it required that everyone makes a progress thread?
