58 yo Guy pushed into train NYC

Police are looking for a man who pushed a fellow rider into the path of an oncoming subway train following a dispute, killing him.
It happened at the 49th Street and Seventh Avenue station around 12:30 p.m.

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority says the victim was struck by a Q train as it was pulling into the station.

Service has been suspended on the Q, N and R trains, pending a police investigation.

Witnesses tell police the victim had been arguing with another man, just prior to being pushed.

The suspect, who fled the station, is described at being between 20 and 30 years old and 6-feet tall, with a white t-shirt, a black wool hat and short dreads. He was seen holding a black jacket.

In very poor taste journalistically and morally....NY post is going to take a hit on this....

FYI...journalist said he was trying to get the attention of the train conductor to alert him...now i am not a photographer...but that shiet looks pretty focused and set up....ummm try NOT and help the guy instead of taking his pic....what a jackass!

It looks like most likely the train killed the guy, not the push or the fall.

And how do you happen to have your camera out and ready for that photo?

Yeah, who stands there, focusing his camera, while a guy 20 feet from him has a train heading straight for him? Pretty messed up.. (assuming this wasn't a staged pic for the story)

foods great, i wouldnt call it dirty exactly. I've noticed people are more in a hurry than they are rude. for instance when 911 happened or sandy everything was slowed down and peoples lives were immediately changed for (most for a short period of time) thats when you got to see how nice people actually are. with that said i cant wait to gtfo!

Apparently was there for some subway photoshoot/artsy hipster thing. It's really disturbing that they made the actual photo the cover of the daily news.

if that photo is real, thats pretty effed.

agreed...just an awful decision by the paper...and what was it a special edition because this jsut happened around 12:30 pm and they put out a paper...OR does it normally come out late.. IDK?

it is a shame...i read that he had a small argument with his wife prior to leaving the house and when she tried to call him later..he never answered.... another reason to let things go and be happy...she must be devastated....
