Squeak after control arms , bushing replacement

Hi Fella fanatics.

I am sure you guys have answer for this not even funny situation.
today my mechanic replaced both control arms , and both control arm bushings.
my 330ci never had any squeak before , and after I replaced these I got noise.

Is there any way that a regular mechanic can damage the control arms or bushing during the repair? does it need a special treat?

all parts were from BMW dealer.

Is it a squeak or a squeal noise? Have you considered that it may be the brakes? Having difficulty envisioning a squeak occurring when you brake. Man I hope you find the answer soon as I can imagine how annoying that must be.

Thank you Sir!
the thing is it shouldn't be the break , since I didn't have them at all before ,and this isn't my first car but didn't have this kind of serious squeak from the break.
Also it has to be very hard break to make that noise, or even if I try to put the R and when the G gets almost 0 I got that noise , so the noise can be made without break.

Does the noise only happen when you brake? What about going over bumps at low speed?

Is the squeak constant while you brake or does it only occur at the initial dip when beginning to brake?

Did this mechanic torque the bushing-side bolt/nuts to spec with the car wheels loaded? If he torqued them with the wheels free and in the air, they'll fail. Ideally, the car also needs to be weighted. Details in TIS or Bentley. Actually .... I'm regurgitating reality for the e39, not sure it applies to the e46 suspension, but I think the bushings shouldn't squeak if genuine bmw.

If no squeak before, have to look at the install. Go back to the shop and get them to look at it and make sure they installed correctly.

Probably should ignore my post, I just read on another site that the e46 bushings don't require preload.
