We're not going to be a countery of slaves for greedy f*cks who think they did it all on their own - no matter how much you want it to be.
That's where you are clueless. The rich always did and will make the rules.

That is true but during times of "crisis" there is even more money to be made. When there is blood on the streets.....

Correct, on a global scale, the US is a much safer bet than the EU or emerging markets right now. The EU sovereign debt crisis is a huge obstacle to growth and investment and with China and the other emerging markets being dependent on the EU and the US for growth, I would still prefer domestic securities over their foreign counterparts. Unemployment finally went below 8%.

There are lots of ways to make a fortune outside securities as I'm sure you and evolved know. If you are interested, read up how Russia produced so many billionaires out of thin air, really interesting and telling. If you have a lot of money, you can multiply it faster in Africa than in the US.

That's your problem right there. We are not equal. We never were not will we ever be. I think you need to re-read Lincoln's quote. You are missing a key word.

Sounds like there's a lot of opportunity for you to exploit in Russia.

Why are you wasting your time in this country, where we are all equal? It will be much easier for you to join your billionaire comrades back in your home country.

What a ****ing joke. Are all men created equal with the same tools as everyone else at birth? I would venture to say so. Having the discipline and motivation to create something with those tools is where we all differ.

Pretending we're all the same in the end is a joke. Some people fail, some don't. I'm sure glad my family didn't fail because my life is ****ing great

Some people are gifted like Michael Jordan. From birth, I could never be him. Some are gifted like Buffet. Some like zuckenberg. Some like Steve Jobs. Only the weak and the losers in life believe we are created equal. Those that believe they are NOT created equal, those who believe they are at a disadvantage, those who strive to overcome succeed. People with lairs mentality are nothing but failures and never amount to sh!t.

Watched titanic with the wife last night and thought this was a great quote...

Old guy: all life is a game of luck.
Calvin: a real man makes his own luck.

You're so shortsighted. It's about what it took to amass that wealth.

I don't often have the balls to say this, but I think it needs to be said. As much as the poor hate the rich, the wealthy and well off in this country who worked for what they have hate the jealous and envious poor just as much for wanting a piece of what they exchanged their productive ability for. Yes, you read that right. If you aren't willing to work for what you want, and you feel someone owes it to you just because you happen to exist, I hate you.

Agree 100%. People come here from all over the world with nothing (my family included.) They overcame things an American born person can't even comprehend. Personally, I feel that way too. There is no excuse for being poor in this country other than laziness. You can go to school for free. There is plenty of work. Bust your ass, learn, educate, work harder and you will do just fine. Those that don't are just expecting for a pot of gold to drop out of the sky but are in for a big surprise.
