Question about sidewall tire size
Current my fronts are 225/40/19. If I were to get 225/35/19 will this increase the gap from the tire to the fender or will it decrease.

225/35/19 is a smaller sidewall so it will increase the gap, to decrease the gap you would have to do a 225/45

increase the gap.
a higher sidewall rating means more side wall so less gap, and vice versa.

it's a % of the secdion width. so the height of a 225/40 sidewall is 225mm*.4, and the 225/35 is 225mm*.35.
