Yes it was lucky but manny shouldn't have been trying to lunge in with seconds left of the round.

At their level, there's no such thing as a lucky punch. A lucky punch is thrown at a bar fight. Not in pro fighting.

That definitely wasn't a lucky punch. It was thrown with the intent to drop him. He opened up and ate all of it. Anyone gets hit with a punch like that and there going down.

its funny, back in the day, a fighter would lose and a few newspaper articles and maybe a news cast or two would come out...

but with the internet.... lol talk about adding insult to injury!

i wonder if Manny sees all this "lol" stuff

im sure he doesn't get the humor

Well it was lucky in the sense that it knocked him out the way it did, and ended the fight in Marquez's favor when pacquiao was clearly dominating otherwise and had Marquez cut and swollen.

It wasn't lucky in the sense that it took no skill. In fact, I think that was the type of shot that knocked manny down earlier in the fight. Def a skill shot by Marquez, wherein he lured manny into it and went over the top.

Manny wasn't being careful. He thought he had Marquez and was trying to finish him off. Just ended up getting caught cleanly.
