New '04 325i Owner in Illinois

Hi, all. I live in central Illinois and just purchased a 2004 325i with about 103k miles on it (5-spd manual). The previous owner kept this one well maintained and had no kids, so it's really in good shape. It was maintained locally by Isringhausen most of the time.

Almost bought a Z4 a few years back, but this is more practical for me since I still have two kiddos in the house who need shuffling around and I often need to take one or more co-workers with me on site visits for work.

This forum has been helpful for me, so I want to say hello. As a bit of background, I've had a lot of experience with online automotive forums as I was the founder of several Honda-related online communities with about 50,000 registered members - same forum used here. And my wife and I scheduled national car club meets for Honda as well. So, I like the "community" thing and I fully support it. Glad to be here and hope to learn a lot and share what I can.
