Is this an easy clip fix?
So this is a picture of my rear drivers side of my e46 . When I bought the car it was like that. Do I just need to go buy a new clip and pop this guy back in?
Oh and if you guys haven't figured out, that white splotch is snow Thanks. |

It's easy fix. Take out the wheel and look inside.
You will see a metal clip held by a nut and bolt. Loosen them and take out the clip. The clip is bent/deformed. Bend it back and install it properly, forcing the bumper back to position. Then that's it. If the clip is too soft. U will need to get creative.

The clip clamps the bumper lip and the body tight together

If, if you need replace the bumper guide the entire bumper will have to removed off the car or slid back far enough to replace that part which doesn't cost a lot anyways.
