All I have is a video of me doing a 3rd gear pull on the freeway. Should I post it?

That's one of my favorite E46 M3s.^ So clean. So perfect.

I'll start out with just headers, and see where that gets me. I'll want to rid my car of the rasp sooner or later...

Not for everyone : SS Race/AA Tune/FabSpeed Headers. Not the best video, doesn't give the setup justice. The sounds peaks at above 4K RPM's

Here's mine: 323i Ebay headers, No 2nd resonator, Magnaflow Muffler.

Screw my plan of getting quad exhausts. I am going to copy you. Although, I will probably keep my Dinan rear exhaust..

So you have
e-bay headers.
no-cats or hi flow cats?
1st resonator?
2nd resonator delete
and magnaflow rear "box" (muffler)

correct. I left in the resonator closest to the headers. The cats are built into the stock headers which I swapped out for ebay catless headers.

Sweet thanks for the response Benny!

I will probably end up using high flow magnaflow cats or something. Now I need to start looking in the classifieds for the "good" ebay headers!
