Bagging my e46
So back in august I was starting to get bored with my car, it was time for a change. But I wasnt sure what exactly I wanted to do. So I sold off my coilovers and wheels. I was torn between BWS coilovers or bags, I decided on bags.
I got Airlift XL's for a mk4 r32 and modified them to work. First I started by making a floor to mount the tank to.  Untitled by Dibaltic, on Flickr Then I made some legs for the tank so that i could drain it. I like cars on air that are slammed.. but not all the way to the ground (makes them look broken not low).
Regardless, I considered air back in the day but couldn't find a setup that was quiet enough. In my Rover, even though it's a high quality Dunlop compressor, and even with it sitting in the engine bay, I can still hear it operating and that HUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM just would NOT fly in a little e46 (especially in the trunk with so little sound dampening).
