You executed the retrofit very nicely on your coupe.
Post a video of this thing in action.

In my Rover, even though it's a high quality Dunlop compressor, and even with it sitting in the engine bay, I can still hear it operating and that HUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM just would NOT fly in a little e46 (especially in the trunk with so little sound dampening).
You must have some damn sensitive ears because I've had two bagged roadsters now and lets talk about hearing everything and to be honest my compressor hardly makes noise. Plus with most advanced management you can set it so it only turns on when your air gets low so unless you're bouncing down the street I see no reason to have your compressor running more than 5 mins anyways.

OP awesome work! I may consider those for my rear to get lower on the Z4 since it's pretty much the same setup as an e46.

are you kidding? i wonder about you sometimes dude.

in any case, most people mount the compressors inside the rear bumper near the well. just get smaller lines. and the e46 trunk has a ton of sound deadening if i remember correctly. there is a reason people kick out the skipass.

Is there any info on the Praxis or other brands system kits?

I have been looking into this for my sedan but have found little information on this site about it, i find builds on other sites, but no product or catalogue info so I can get it.

AirRex makes a complete kit. I have it on my Z4. Handles like coils but doesn't go as low as most. Still very low though. Has full dampening and ability to run sway bars and optional camber plates.

Word. People not being static and breaking their lips and covering it in stickers. Installing suspension that allows them to ride at OEM height with the same comfort and slam for meets/shows rather than having to use 2x4's to get out of their driveways...def gone to sh*t...

Aren't they worse for handling compared to coilovers?
