Oh I see someone likes Reddit.

I don't know what I would think if this was my car. How can they even get the car down or back up without smashing it more? I'm also curious as the how cars get dropped. Don't they try to push them off the lift before they take it all the way up? That's what I do with jack stands.

One good thing for the owner is that he'll probably get everything free for this job plus the repairs. It looks like they were doing a pretty big job taking out the entire engine and transmission.

BMWs are close to being 50/50 weight distribution so there was no issue with the lift until they pulled the engine and subframe and possibly transmission. Oops....

Looks to me like they forgot to put jackstands on the ass end before they took the front out. Once they removed the engine the rear suddenly became much heavier than the front. Oops!
