HIGHLY recommended shop

I know there is a thread to post about what some good shops are but I was so impressed with the service here that I think it deserves it's own thread..

My friend recommended this place called Fairfield motor works. I was a little skeptical because I have not had good experiences with Indy shops before.. So I show up and parked outside is a white Aston Martin db9, an Audi rs4, Audi A8L, bmw 760il, Mercedes slk55 amg, Honda s2k, various other European supercars.. I was impressed! The owner Chris comes out to meet me. He pops open my hood and almost immediately identifies the problem. Valve cover gasket. He then goes on and explains exactly what's going on in my engine and tells me how everything works. Very knowledgeable about e46's. he even explained what he's gonna do to replace the VCG just so I am comfortable with how he works. He knew everything off the top of his head about the size of the bolts, the exact method. He even let me bring my own valve cover gasket because I got a great deal on one. He then brings my car in the shop and works very professionally. He even took the time to clean off each part while the valve cover was removed. He was honest, worked well, great prices, and was very professional. Needless to say I will be taking my car back there for any repairs that need to be done. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone who needs repairs for their e46! Once again the shop is called Fairfield motor works in Fairfield CT
