Their tax exempt status has been challenged, and petitioned.https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/pet...hurch/YrKbHYtV
Apparently they now have enough signatures to be investigated.

Based on the recent release of all of their personal information...they might not be for much longer.

They're drooling at the prospect of people acting on this info.

They FUND their activities by suing people that go after them. I remember reading an article about them winning a case where the family of the dead service member whose funeral they were protesting actually had to pay them damages.

They live on attention. If we all agree to starve them, they'll die.

Why would the secret service lock them up for exercising their rights?

Just like I wouldn't infringe upon your second amendment rights, I wouldn't infringe upon their first amendment rights. The more attention they get, the more they bask in it. Ignore them, and they go away.

In a country where people are judged by their peers, I would bet someone could gun down the whole picket, claim temporary insanity and be acquitted by their peers.

No way would I ever hand a guilty verdict to someone who plowed down the entire group.

Agreed, but the acts of aggression that they live on are through their picketing. It's different and far more dangerous once that aggression is moved to their personal homes. Not to mention their financial information being released too.

Also, given the threat of long term "war" this could very well be just the beginning of what they have in mind for these idiots.

These WBC fanatics are just that, fanatics (and not E46 fanatics, which is totally different). They are Christian nutjobs that are doing Jesus's bidding. Never underestimate the lengths a religious fanatic will go to in order to adhere to their dogma. It wouldn't surprise me at all if they've already had internal discussions about martyrdom in anticipation of some act of violence against them.

Ignoring them is the key. Don't click the link. Don't forward the tweet. Change the channel. Boycott the advertisers. Turn your back to their protests.

Or, accidentally run them over with a truck. Both solutions are appealing.
