Lowering spring on 19"

I have 19" CSL's on my e46 and I am planning on getting new struts and shocks. Now, I want to fill in the wheel gap so thinking about getting lowering springs (Eibach's). Eibach's come with a 1.4 drop but I don't know if this will be to much of a drop and make my tired rub since I have 19" rims. If anyone has any opinions or experience with something like this it would really help out!

You should clear no problem as long as you're wheel offsets isn't too aggresive. Also, what size tires you running?

From that first pic, it doesn't look like you have crazy offsets. Should clear with Eibach Pro-Kit springs. It will be a minimal drop from stock sport suspension.

Lowering spring on 19"

I just don't want to invest on the springs, get them installed and have them rub and have to get the regular springs out back on and pay for labor again. Idk why but the rear of my car is a lot lower than the front because I just really want to get rid of the front gap

Find out the exact specs of your wheels with offset and tire size and I'll be able to tell you if you'll rub or not.

You rears might rub on the fender lip and the bumper clip.

I'm on H&R Sport springs which is just about the same height as Eibach Pro-Kit and my rears are 19x8.5 ET35 with a 12mm spacer making it ET23 which sticks out 1mm less than your setup now. (Used this offset calculator)

I had to roll my rear fenders and shave off the bumper clips inside the wheel well to get rid of rubbing issues.

Supposedly was only a .25 drop (rear) from sport suspension and seems like much more than that after it settled.

Here's what it looked like right after installation:

It has settled since and sits slightly lower now. (1 finger gap)

How much was your front drop? I'll probably just get h&r than because eibach only has the 1.4 all around drop.

Here's what it looks like now:

The drop in the front was about an inch lower than sport suspension

That 1.4 drop on the Eibach is that from regular stock suspension or sport suspension?

This is what it says on Tirerack for the Eibach Pro-kit:

Note: Avg low 1.4"F 1.4"R
For E46 chassis only. Lowering dimensions are based on models without sport suspension. Sport models will receive minimal drop increase from sport ride height.

Do you have factory sport suspension?
