Clutch question!
I'm wanting to replace my clutch for something stuffer, I'm thinking about a spec stage 1. Does anyone know if I can use a stock fly wheel with this clutch set up? I haven't heard good things about lightweight fly wheels so I want to stay away from them, any knowledge is helpful!

Why do you want a stiffer clutch? Do you race often? If you just want a stiffer pedal you can buy stiffer pressure plates

Lightweight flywheel is the best performance bang for the buck. Not much negative, unless it's too light (<10 lbs).
I'd go for the Valeo single mass flywheel and non-SAC clutch, though.

If your putting down normal power i wouldnt bother getting a differnt clutch unless you want to go once a week . Light weight is good for Auto X but horrible for Drag racing

I have liked the spec clutches in every car I drove
If I wanted a stage 1 I would need to get a new fly wheel? And would a stock/non lightweight fly wheel work with that clutch? |
