I'd only let people in my family and close friends drive my car. Basically... Don't **** it up and the world will be ok.

Generally I ask anyone to:
Let the oil warm up to 175ish before going past 3k RPM
Rev match all downshifts

The only people I ever let drive the car are people I'd generally trust with much more though... so it's generally understood that we don't beat the **** out of each others' cars

I just tell them to wait 3 sec. between turning on park lamps and xenons. So the xenons don't go flashing 3 times if they're switched on directly.

Terra, after using the EU LCM number you provided, I still don't know why it does this.

Sounds like it's not coded for xenons to me.

I don't let anyone borrow my car except my parents. The only two rules I have are simple. 1 Do NOT park by a curb. And 2 let it warm up properly.

The only person who drives my car with me not in it in my dad. He can do whatever he wants to the car. I just have to take out my radar detector stuff from the inside.

I told my wife to take my car last week to run an errand. Her car wouldn't start and my LR was full of path stones and gravel powder. She backed the car carefully out of the driveway, came to a complete stop, shifted into D and proceded to lay rubber for a few seconds. The look on her face was priceless.

Never pull open the trunk by the trunk handle. You MUST pop the trunk with a button, then lift from the lower edge of the trunk itself.

Don't break my car, don't wreck my car...pretty simple rules to follow. And the biggie, the gas tank better have MORE in it when you come back!
