Closed Coolant Thread
I saw the previous discussion, but it was not answered if we can use this in our cars.
Me and a couple of my barnyard friends were sitting around trying to find a way to save a few bucks and wanted to know what the knowledgeable and respected members of the forum thought. |

It CAN be used but it is not recommended at all. BMW coolant has certain properties in regards to corrosion, etc. Stick with BMW coolant.

Never saw the other thread?
BMW coolant doesn't cost that much more than something like that so for something that is not done very often I will keep using BMW coolant. Cliff note: OEM coolant or bust.

Why would you use that motor oil in your cooling system?
I would for sure stick to using that as motor oil and motor oil only broseph.

Worse yet, you moderate based on your unsubstantiated, incorrect opinions. Shameful. |
