You're planning on moving your entire steering column, pedals, etc to the other side?

New steering rack, then move around electronics, brake reservoir, DSC module, and brake booster? Probably even other stuff to do?

ABS delete kit. Replacing a steering rack is easy flipping the wiring is easy. Replacing the dash is also quite easy. Sonyeah its a pretty easy swap. Easy enough that I'm swapping the rear diff out at the same time.

Build a car that looks like everyone here or take it to the next level. I'll take the latter. Should have it done for Wuste. Since mo one here has anything useful to assist with my OP forget it. She will be in Vegas if anyones going.

Seems like an immense amount of work for... "Show points".

How would having a LHD car in the states be more unique?

And its really not that much work when you have a shop, lift, and all the tools at your dispense. it is for show points but it sets my car apart from most of the other BMWs out there. Yall have wheels, bumpers, skirts, hoods, trunks, and everything else. I'm just taking it to that next step. What may be a ton of work fo some may be a cakewalk for others. Me saying this is easy is because I've done RHD swaps before. Would I want to swap a motor. **** no. Buy some of you may rather do that than tackle anything with wiring etc.

You're not really taking it to the next level. No one will be impressed by a RHD dash. It'll just encourage people to not to drive your car because it'll be annoying.
a RHD dash is, in no way, a desirable mod.

Its awesome that people here don't allow anyone to be any different than everyone else. A rhd swap is something I've always wanted to do. It will stand out and draw a little more attention at shows. Also I don't let anyone drive my car so don't care about it discouraging other to drive it.

Keep swapping mtech bumpers. Glad all your cars are them same. Happy motoring

Driving a RHD car in the states would suck.

Since every single car sold on this continent is LHD, you're just going to have to pony up the extra cash to get your "different" dash.

I'm not saying don't do it. I don't care what you do. I'm just saying it won't be a positive mod to anyone else but you.
When people see a RHD car they don't go ohhhh ahhhhh. They just go uh, steering wheels on the wrong side. Must suck.

The only way you're getting a RHD dash is from an Ausi or European part out. You might have a hard time trying to get someone to ship it and it will be expensive.

Your dealer might also be able to order one but you will pay out the nose for it there. Good luck

I don't know about anyone else, but this actually sounds like a really cool idea! I'd love to see the results. Although this will probably take some getting used to with a manual. I once sat in my passenger seat and couldn't put my ebrake down and shifting just felt weird. My left arm isn't trained for this. But it still sounds cool and unique!
