Sedan door panel speaker mod

Hi I'm a long time lurker first time poster here. I am currently replacing all the speakers in my 04 sedan and am having trouble putting 2.5" speakers in. I have replaces the speakers in my past cars with the bav audio set but on this car I wanna go custom or better. I don't wanna put tweeters in the 2.5" spot I'd rather go with good 2.5mids or 3.25-4" speakers. Now I know people have made threads of these mods but apparently I never saved any of the threads I've read on this. So can I get some ideas and or thread links on things of this nature please?

*if you respond with just search I have searched and don't waste anyone's times with that please.*

Also I will post pics with what I end up doing and a write up if needed. I already removed my back door panels and will do those first since those speakers are blown already.

I used an Eclipse 3-way system to replace my door speakers. Eclipse SC-8355, they have been discontinued for quite a while now but WoofersEct has them for just over $300, not that I've ever bought from them. The mid was a direct replacement. For the tweeter I just hand to bend up a metal strip to mount it. And the 5 1/4'' driver was top-mounted to the door panel with the Eclipse speaker cover.

On second thought I would be hesitant to run these from the HK amp since I don't know what crossover frequencies it uses for each of the speakers although it might be fine. I used this set with the Eclipse crossover and an after market amp.

Here's another option. This is a good place to buy from. The Mid mounting might be a little tricky to hide the mounting screws.

If you research the crossover points you'll probably find that the speakers will be safe to run straight off the HK amp.

PS I see the SC-8355 for a bit cheaper, used, on ebay right now.

Another company to check out is DLShttp://dls.se/en/car. They have some 3-way solutions and seperate mid range speakers.
