I didn't know E39 came in AWD.

many e39 did come with heated steering wheels, but none were AWD.

Well, 80% of 1 series owners thought their car was front wheel drive; maybe most 5 series owners think their car is all wheel drive?

It's true, I remember reading this a while ago, if I remember correctly the survey was done by BMW to decide if they could get away with FWD on the next 1 series.
