M3 steering wheel is one of my favorite mods to date.. And was relatively inexpensive if you find a decent deal.

No doubt, it's such a good looking wheel! I'm going to try and snag one this summer

Ya. As Chase said, it's only a matter if 1 stage vs. 2 stage. 2 stage is backward compatible, 1 stage isn't forward compatible. It's good to be a 1-stager

I'd like some input on wheels, if you guys and gals wouldn't mind offering some perspective. I originally wanted 18in BBS LMs or ACS Type III Racing, but I doubt I'll be able to afford them this summer and I need to have something other than these snowflakes. I was thinking about picking up a set of 18in Style 71s. Any other suggestions? I don't want reps, because I'm a diva

How about some style 135m's? You can find them pretty cheap and they look great

Quick small update: I tried finding the vacuum leak, took out the airbox, couldn't find anything yet. Guess I'll keep working at it. I've decided to go for KW V2s as far as coilovers go. My coilover and wheel fund is slowly growing, it's going to take a loooong time, but it will be well worth the wait!

You check the lower intake boot? You can feel for a tear/hole with your fingers

When you say you're looking at BBSs or ACS wheels are we talkin ACTUALS or reps? Cause if we're talking about real BBSs or ACSs then we have a lot of wiggle room in terms of pricing/wheel options.

If you're talkin about reps, then we have a bit less of wiggle room. What is your budget/style you're trying to achieve with you wheels. Aggressive? Poke? Lip/Steplip? I see you're goin with KWv2s so you're not planning on slammin the car as if you were on bags so wheel size is out of the question. Need some more info about your taste in mods before anyone can help you with wheel choices haha.

EDIT: Whoops didn't FULLY read your post sorry. Since you want genuine BBS or ACS wheels you have tons of options man. But my post still needs to be address as to what style you're lookin to achieve as listed above ^

Thanks for the heads up, I got the wheel thing sorted out I'll post an update later in the week.

With regards to coil overs, I'm definitely going for KW V2s, and I have a few questions. Would it be advisable to buy a strut mount kit for the front and rear? Also, which camber plates work with KW V2s? I hear Vorshlag camber plates are nice. Will I need strut mounts in the front if I'm getting camber plates? These may be silly questions, but I'd rather be safe than sorry haha. Also not much has been going on with the car lately, I've been busy with school and moving. But I promise things will get spicy soon

UPDATE TIME

Baby gurl got some new shoes today

I picked up these ACS Type 3s from Jon (jdny516) this morning, I plan on fully refinishing them this winter, so stay tuned for that as well

I know I need a drop and some spacers, so coilovers and other suspension components will hopefully be coming soon!

Oh and here's another pic I snapped the other day

PS, anyone in this thread coming to bimmerfest east?

Love these wheels, and I agree your car needs a drop, are you on stock or sport suspension?
